Once I owned a computer that was not as well behaved as I would have liked. After several talented people tried unsuccessfully to fix it, I decided it was time to cut my losses. I learned how to safely take the recalcitrant computer to bits for recycling. I got part way through taking out approximately 300 screws of at least 5 different types when it happened…
OOOH!!! PRETTY!!

Oh dear. Now I have a new hobby!

My creations are comprised of parts of computers, random paperclips, ornament hangers, broken jewelry, wire, epoxy, and anything else not nailed down. Sources range from my bottom drawer to the thrift store. Tiny tools are among my newest fascinations, and my co-workers don’t dare complain about malfunctioning equipment for fear I'll lapse into my addiction to re-purposing. Which I can stop anytime I want. really!!!
